How Meal2U works

Meal2U is a mobile app for iPhone and Android. Download it, choose your language, then choose Customer, Cook or Delivery Partner and fill in the form. Your registration country comes from the address you enter. Launching soon.

For customers

  1. Sign up as a Customer and verify your email or mobile number from Profile.
  2. Add your delivery address in Profile. Kitchens appear only if they deliver to your area and are open.
  3. Browse kitchens and open a dish to see its price, allergens and dietary labels.
  4. Add dishes to your basket. You can order from more than one kitchen if they use the same currency — each kitchen gets its own order.
  5. Check out. Delivery charge, service fee and any tax are shown before you pay. You pay by card on Stripe’s secure page.
  6. Follow your order in Orders. Once a delivery partner has your food, you can follow them on the map.
  7. Rate and review your meal afterwards.

For home cooks

  1. Sign up as a Cook and register your kitchen: business name, kitchen address, cuisines and opening hours.
  2. Upload your government ID. Meal2U staff check it before your kitchen can take orders. Some areas charge a registration fee.
  3. Add food-business details such as your registration number and food hygiene rating (these may be required by law where you live).
  4. Publish your menu with dish photos, prices, allergens and dietary labels. Keep them accurate.
  5. Accept or reject orders. If you reject one, give a reason. Have food packed and ready at the time shown.
  6. See your earnings. Commission and fees for your country are shown in the app. Payouts are made through Stripe.

For delivery partners

  1. Sign up as a Delivery Partner with your base address, delivery areas and vehicle.
  2. Upload your documents: a government ID, plus a driving licence if your vehicle needs one (car, and scooter in most areas). On foot, bicycle and e-bike need no licence.
  3. Wait for approval. Staff approve or reject each document; a rejection always includes a reason.
  4. Go online and accept nearby deliveries. Your location is shared only while you have an active delivery.
  5. Pick up and deliver. Carry food sealed as handed over, and never use your phone while moving.
  6. See your earnings in the app. Pay for each delivery is paid through Stripe.
